This years IBC

According to IBC this was a record breaking edition, closing with 55,128 attendees. This year it was all about content everywhere covering topics as OTT delivery, mobile TV and Cloud production to the economics of Ultra HD, digital cinema innovation and the rise of social television, IBC sits at the forefront of all the recent major changes in the industry.




Even though we were not exhibiting, we were present as visitors, speakers and with our VIP partner & Customer event. Emile de Ruiter, our senior solutions architect, unraveled the OTT delivery blueprint during the SCTE Benelux lecture meeting on Monday. This OTT blueprint is formed using our lessons learned in international OTT projects. See the presentation Emile gave below. During our VIP partner & customer event we took an exclusive boat to travel to the West-Indian house to create economical history once more.

In general we are sad that IBC is over but excited about the impressions, contact moments and inspiration we gained. We saw a further shift into a more service driven world and focus on innovative solutions that optimize video business.
