Digicel were looking to upgrade their video distribution platform to modernise their service. They wanted to work in a more data-driven way, utilising the power of data and analytics to improve performance and service quality. Flexibility and future scalability were also critical, the ability to add channels and locations as the situation demanded.

Divitel analysed Digicel's current architecture and designed a future-proof platform upgrade. Using automated tooling including Ansible playbooks and kickstart images, the team deployed 5 new OTT CDN analyzers across 2 islands, configured 200+ channel lineups automatically, and established comprehensive monitoring dashboards, all with an architecture ready for expansion to additional regions.

Architecture analysis
Analysis of the current situation, future-proof architectural designs, and guidance on KPIs and metrics. Legacy components including multicast analyzers were upgraded to the latest version.
