Solution Architect

About the role
Divitel’s Strategy & Consulting practice provides independent architecture guidance to telecom operators and media companies at major inflection points: platform migrations, vendor selections, technology transformations, and operational overhauls. As Solution Architect, you will be the technical authority in client engagements, combining deep platform knowledge with the ability to communicate clearly at C-level. You will design solutions that are vendor-agnostic, operationally sound, and built to last.
What you will do
- Lead technical assessments of operator platforms, identifying risks, gaps, and transformation opportunities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures for IPTV, OTT, broadband, and observability environments
- Support RFP and vendor selection processes with independent technical evaluation
- Present architecture recommendations and roadmaps to senior client stakeholders
- Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure architectures are deliverable
- Contribute to thought leadership: whitepapers, conference presentations, and internal knowledge sharing
What we are looking for
- 8+ years of experience in a technical role within telecom, broadcast, or media technology
- Deep knowledge of IPTV and/or OTT platform architecture across the full stack
- Experience evaluating and selecting vendor solutions at an enterprise level
- Ability to translate complex technical content for non-technical audiences
- Strong consulting mindset: structured thinking, clear communication, client-facing presence
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud-native platform design (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of CDN architecture and video streaming optimisation
- Background in a Tier 1 operator or major system integrator
- Published articles, speaking experience, or open-source contributions
