Divitel, a specialist in data-driven intelligence for video and broadband operations, has reached agreement to acquire the Dimetis BOSS Broadcast Manager platform, together with the engineering and support team behind it, from Dimetis in Dietzenbach, Germany. The transaction is expected to complete in September 2026, subject to customary conditions. Financial terms are not disclosed.
For the broadcasters and network operators running BOSS Broadcast Manager, the practical change is limited by design. Support continues through the same engineers, from the same location, under existing agreements. Customers were informed directly ahead of this announcement.
Dimetis BOSS Broadcast Manager is a broadcast management and control platform. Broadcasters and network operators use it to monitor and configure streaming, multiplex and IPTV environments and to automate the media workflows that run through them, which places it in the same video chain that Divitel already works in.
