This Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give Divitel when you use this website.

Personal data

When you visit our website, we may collect information in two ways:

  1. Through information gathered from your computer
  2. Through information you voluntarily provide at our website

As to automatically gathered information, we collect navigational information about:

  • Where visitors go to on our website.
  • How many visits are made.
  • When our website is visited.
  • And other non-personally identifiable information.

Regarding the information given to us voluntarily, we may collect the following information:

  • First and last name.
  • Contact information including email address, telephone numbers and (business) addresses.
  • Information about your activities on our website.
  • Other information that is provided by, for example, filling in a form on our website, correspondence and/or phone.

 


Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website does not have the intention to collect data from website visitors younger than 16 years old. We can’t however check if a visitor is older than 16 years. We recommend parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data from a minor, please contact our Data Protection Officer and we will delete this information.

 


Purpose and basis for processing personal data

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services.

Personal information gathered by one of our job applications forms, will in no case be used for any direct marketing purposes. By checking the acceptance box at the bottom of the job applications forms, you agree with the storage and handling or your data by our website.

 


Analytics

To collect information about how visitors use our website, we use Google Analytics. This way we can make improvements and give visitors a better user experience. Google Analytics cookies do not store or share any personal information about you.

 


CRM

To monitor our website traffic and leads, we use Hubspots Inbound Marketing and Sales Platform. When submitting forms on our website, we use Hubspot for automated data collection and processing purposes. They will not use your data for any purposes and will only hold the data in line with our policy on data retention.

 


Internet Based Advertising

We use LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter advertising services, and as such there are tracking codes installed on our website. This way we can manage the effectiveness of these campaigns. We do not store any personal data within this type of tracking.

 


Conversion tracking

We use Google AdWords to identify how well our ad campaign is generating leads, sales, downloads, and other actions. Google AdWords cookies do not store or share any personal information about you. We do not store any personal data within this type of tracking.

 


Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions which can have consequences for people based on automated decision-making. This means we do not make decisions which are made by computer programs or systems, without the intervention of a person (for example an employee of Divitel).

 


How long do we hold on to personal data

Divitel saves your personal data not longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes the personal data was collected for. We handle the following time limit for storage for personal data we process in our secured environment:

Your information will be stored in our CRM for as long as you are considered a lead or customer. If this is not (longer) the case, your personal information will be deleted.

For further information about the time limit for storage of your personal data, we kindly ask you to contact our Data Protection Officer. We would also like to point out your rights concerning the storage of your personal data, as described in the section below.

 


Controlling your personal information

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

  • Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on our website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you agree with the storage and handling of your data by our website.
  • If you have previously agreed to Divitel using your personal information, you may change your mind at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer or using the opt out.

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. Besides you also have the right to withdraw your permission for processing your data, to object against the processing of your personal data by our organization and to apply for data portability. This means you can request us to send your personal data (that we have in our possession) through a computer file to you or somebody else, or to an organization of your choice.

Do you wish to use your right to object and/or to data portability, or do you have any other questions/remarks about the processing of your data, please send a specific request to our Data Protection Officer.

When this request is send to our Data Protection Officer by e-mail, we need to make sure that the request is done by you. We will ask you to add a copy of your identity card. Make sure you make a copy which does not show your passport photo, machine readable zone (set of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.

 


Sharing of personal data with third parties

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties, unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

 


How we use cookies
